Open Question: How do I accept or let go of the past?
I had a rough time during most of my school years (I was in all-boys' school), because I always had trouble making friends because the guys there were annoying @ssholes and jocks and I got bullied a lot and I hated how there was never any girls there and that went on for most of my childhood and teen years. In fact, it got so bad I was thinking about committing suicide because I felt like I was living in hell and nobody would help me. But I'm 20 now, and nearly 21 and I've been attending a mixed college for the last few years and I really enjoy it because the kids are friendlier and there's hardly any bullying here and I love how I'm getting to know girls here and I'm much more sociable and happier than I used to be. But sometimes the bad memories of being bullied or being in an all-boys' school haunt me and I can't get them out of my head. I think this is because I'm really disappointed with how my childhood and teen-hood in school turned out and think about "Why didn't I ever attend a mixed school?" because I'm happier in a mixed school and apparently going to an all-boys' school is very bad luck for me. And if I had went to a mixed school in my childhood or teen-hood my life could have been better and happier. I know school is only a small part in everyone's life, but you're only young once.
